Last time I ran Kodi at home and watched a few tv espisodes, I promptly received a letter from Spectrum complaining about sharing copyrighted content.
I guess if I were on the free WiFi at a campground... well, how would "they" know, right?
you need a VPN like IP Vanish
Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIf you're using legal content source add-ons on Kodi, you shouldn't be receiving any notices about copyright violations. It isn't Kodi that's the problem, but the add-ons available for it that illegally stream copyrighted content without permission.
- bob213ExplorerYou can put Kodi on your Windows laptop and have a far faster processor and more memory than a stick and it's free. Use an hdmi to send to your tv.

Yes, I have Kodi on both an Amazon Fire TV Stick and an Amazon Fire TV Box.
Same here. Its easy to install just google it
Yes, fairly easy to install but if someone does not want to deal with the install you can buy either a new Amazon Fire TV Stick of Amazon Fire Box on eBAY that someone has already installed Kodi on.
Usually you will pay only a few $ more for the device on eBAY with Kodi versus buying just the device on Amazon.
For those that are say less technically inclined this is a good way to go.
Note: On eBAY, check the sellers feedback to assure you are seeing lots of buyers saying the seller is up to par and the device preformed as it should.
