The biggest risk in a campground situation
Is usually low voltage, which most laptop power bricks have no problems
Bring rated for 90v > 250v
The second risk is a loose neutral causing high voltage
If this happens, your whole RV is at risk, and the power brick and laptop will still most likey survive
If your sole reason for some protection is your laptop
Then don't get anything
But if you want to protect that $800 A/C, mw, power converter, and everything else, then get something , that alerts and disconnects when there is a problem with shore power
