Maps Alternative
A am very disappointing with Maps on 8.1 and am looking for an alternative. All I need is plain old Navigation without any social media add-ons. Any thoughts on a better navigation app?

Give WAZE a try. I have used it for my daily commute and am totally sold on it. It routes you based on traffic conditions, alerts you of issues ahead and it's FREEEEEE.......
Google bought WAZE in 2013 and incorporated the technology into Google Maps so when you're using Google Maps you're also using WAZE.
So in google maps, you can alert drivers of police, slow traffic, road hazards and other things that WAZE offers?

In Copilot when I select Google as the search, I can try and find KOA West Chester. It won't find it. All I have to do for Google Maps is speak what I want and it will find it. There is some flaw with Copilot integration with google.

I have a question for the Google Maps users.
I have never used them other than on the internet.
What I have found, by searching where my daughter move to,
where I live and other relatives live, is that the
dates on the maps shown are 4-5 years old. Also many
of the street names and numbers are incorrect.
Lots of things change in that period of time.
Are the products you download and use, giving more
up to date information that that?
Are you finding it reliable for addresses?
Thanks for the information.
