- gatorcqExplorerWhen, M was encourage to transfer customers to Version.
I made the call. Transfer was quick and easy ( Oct 2104).
We have been happy with the switch over. Price went up $5 to $100 for 20 gigs. Month to month contract.
Here we are May 2016 still happy. - JiminDenverExplorer IIBe able to get by with T-Mobile or Sprint coverage and you can get some nice deals. The prices did show up for me and the 10 gig plan with free streaming and hotspot use is $5 less than I pay on Cricket without the streaming.
Now for travel I would go for the coverage. That said having the 5 gig hotspot with binge on is pretty sweet if you are into streaming. With coverage the 5 gigs easily cover email and forums, even pogo games. The free streaming takes a lot of gigs every week, way more than a none unlimited plan can handle.
Things I'd look for are roaming, does the limits on the hotspot use include streaming, roll over and overages. Also I would look around for the best prices. T-Mobile is running a lot of deals. 4GAS has a loosely enforced business plan with 6 gigs with binge on and unlimited 2G after your cap for $32, 10 gigs and free streaming is $44. - RoyBExplorer IIWell - When I zoom down on the T-MOBILE map it goes to a very light RED color meaning poor coverage here where I live in Virginia. It is a known fact that only VERIZON works here.
I would have to play 'GREEN ACRES" and climb a tall telephone pole here to use T-MOBILE haha...
I guess I setup an antenna like the big stores do and fill my house with a good signal to use things...
