Over the air tv reception

My Tv in the motorhome never worked well. I replaced the old antenna with a Jack Digital HDTV Antenna Replacement Head. That didn't correct the picture. So I replaced the wire from the antenna to the switch box. I then replaced the wire from the switch box to the TV. The TV also has been replaced. I won a Winegard Rayzar Indoor antenna and by passed everything and I have a great picture. Don't have any Idea were to go from here. My Dish Net works great but If I work off the roof it fades in and out. Everything is new. Am thinking of trying the house antenna with a long cable to the wire on top of the roof. Suggestions please
  • I've got a 2nd home that we visit a couple times a year and don't pay for cable. The digital antenna that I have is a pretty good one and the first thing that I noticed was that cable length made a huge difference in reception, as did the number of connections. This to say that the house antenna idea with long cable will probably be a waste of money for the long cable. Why would you not just stick with the indoor that's working great?
