Pairing my Apple

I thought I would pass this information on and maybe it will help solve a problem for some one
I have a IMAC and IPAD. We had power failure and when I restarted the IMAC the wireless keypad would not pair. I tried a variety of technics and nothing. Took the keypad to the Apple Store and it worked and they suggested I baring in the IMAC so I made an appointment...So today I was trying to get the **** thing to work when I went to the BlueTooth settings on the IPAD I noticed that the IMAC Keypad was connected to the IPAD.

Just the other day I purchased the New Bose Solo 15 Wireless Sounder which has Bluetooth so I am now able to listen to iTunes from my phone and Ipad thru the new Bose but each device must be connected via bluetooth and paired with the Bose.

Now back to the IMAC, when I saw that the keypad was connected to the IPAD i said OMG, that is my problem and sure enough that was it, so I pass this on with the hope it will solve someones problem too. Ed
  • I keep a USB keyboard and mouse on hand just in case Bluetooth drops. Usually my BT keyboard will redo the connection as soon as I tap a key, but it is always good to have a way in that will work even if the BT option is disabled in OS X.
