I never loaded originals to Photobucket. I've always kept originals on my laptop computer and back-up on an external hard drive. I only uploaded to photobucket after I resized the originals to 640x480 pixels or smaller for use on RV.net. So when I got blocked from using photobucket 3rd party, I just started deleting all my photos one at a time, folder by folder until they were gone. I then closed out my photobucket account, and also made sure they knew why I was closing. Never heard a word from them.
I since have started using IMGUR.com. I understand from some folks they block 3rd party also, but so far, this has not happened to me. I'll use them until something happens. I also opened a Flicker account, but have not loaded any photos there yet.
Still, all my originals are safe, in MY control, and not dependent on any other web site or anywhere else to store them.
I work in Information Technology and everything is moving to the "Cloud". Sorry, I don't want dependency on someone else's technology for my personal photos.
As stated above, about all you can do to save the photos from Photobucket, is to resave them one at a time.
