Power/temperature monitor

After few days, the system works well in my house and I can monitor it from my smartphone.
Don't expect any trouble to have it working at campground.

It is not modem signal I have a problem, but Sprint coverage.
I am on the edge of Las Vegas.
Sprint map shows perfect coverage, yet it works maybe 5% of the time.

OK got all the stuff together and it "seem" to be working.
At my home I have pretty poor signal for my WiFia and have to put it on upstairs window to connect, what is unreliable.
I am getting signal but with my computer and smartphone automatically switching to my home WiFi I am confused how I am getting the data.
Will have to check later if thermometer will refresh about every 15 minutes like it should.
Bonus, the thermometer comes with 2nd tiny probe. Looks like good refrigerator monitor.

I am visual guy and hesitate to buy something that doesn't show, but it says 2 Ethernet plugs.
Kind of sucks that with all those wireless thermometer, thermostats, water monitors and similar things - one that would work directly with Wi Fi and then with my android dosn't exist.
Still if I can build system for 50 bucks, can't really complain.
I email La Crosse support if they can suggest something but no response.

You will need a WiFi bridge. I ordered a GL.iNet GL-AR150 Mini Travel Router from Amazon and it just arrived today, so haven't tested it out yet. Supposedly it can be configured to furnish wired ethernet from a WiFi connection.

Supposedly you can also configure a PC bridge to connections also.

I was hoping I finally found good device to monitor RV temperature with Hot Spots, only learn that it only support IOS system( Iphone, ipad etc).
I have Samsung android, so have to send it back, but for those who have IOS, that system monitor, adjust and send alarms.
monitoring WIFI thermostat.

At this point I am ready to take my home weather station.
It is about 8" panel, so not that bad

Lots of apps for old smartphones to do this, most just stream video so keep a thermometer in the shot and you're set. Alternately a NEST camera is super easy to setup.

There are dedicated environmental monitors that "plug in", however expect to spend $100s - they're mainly used for industrial applications.
