Radio/tv assistance...

One thing I forgot to mention on Chrome Cast and likely the conpeting Apple product.

Both the "Source" device (Phone, taplet or comnputer) and the Destination device 9Chrome cast in my house) have to be on the same Wi-Fi router and it has to allow device to device sharing.

In my house I'm using park Wi-Fi,, but via my own router.. The setup (from the client end) looks like this (Clients are my computers, Printers, and Chromecast)

(Clients)--Belkin Home Router (N class)----Cat-5 Cable-----NanoStation LocoM2 Wi-Fi adapter )))))))))) Wi-Fi Router in somewhat distant building.


SZo all my devices are on the "Belkin" net (Snafu,net) all logged in with my PSK which is NOT shared not even with trusted frinds via Google.. All able to send to each other.

Oh,m and on my TV network.. i do magic.. all the things "only our expensive over priced subscription service" does,m but not for 100+ a month.. rather 25/year

(Record based on program name, record on any DVR (I have 2 used to have 3) Record in one room play back in another (I had 3 rooms back then) Fast forwardm rewindm, stop and pick up on different machine,, Download to poortable device.

I do it all.. 215/year adn that's just for the electronic program guide.. TV-Guide would.. Cost more

Two ways: THough i'm not sure of the 2nd

1: HDMI you will need an adapter for the Incomplete Operating System phone and I have no clue about them

In the world of Androids I use ChromeCast I think Apple has a competing product if CC won't work on you. Stop off at the apple store and pay too much for it.

I do it through HDMI to lightning adapter. 39 bucks.

the bose stereo has nothing to do with Video

an maybe an apple air play,

one of the video 'Casting' sticks, that is a receiver that plugs into the hdmi on the TV, and the phone sends/'casts' the signal to that
