MOst people do not know this but there is a MINIMUM Radius for a coax.. And it can be as high as six inches for some types.. Or as little as an inch or two for others. And before you ask. NO I do not know the minimum radius for the brand of RG-59 You have

Culprit was two f connectors behind the antenna mount in ceiling. The connector problem was too much stress on the coax caused by sharp turn in wiring. Replaced two connectors and barrel fitting and made more space for coax to make gradual turn up to antenna. Working real good. So far so good.

Thanks for the help, Doug

No getting voltage means SOME of the connectors are good.

What I have seen is that the center wire needs to go farther into some connectors and if it is cut a bit short. Well contact is NOT made.

If you get voltage, wouldnโ€™t that mean coax connections are good?

The old sensar quit working after about 10 years. New sensar 4 worked great for about two months, then quit also......power but no signal.

I will try temporary new coax as suggested to see if any difference.

Suspect #1 is the coax end (Connector) if the center wire is cut a bit...short.. it may not be making contact with the center pin in the antenna.

Suspect #2 is the other end of the "Above the roof" coax where it connects to the longer run at or in the roof.

To test

Get a length of coax RG-6 or 59 don't matter. Long enough to reach from teh power source (Box of many buttons, wall plate. Sensar Pro) to the roof top antenna via window or door. Run a direct line. if it works. Then clearly a coax issue.

I'm not an expert but if all you did was disconnect one and hook up the other, you shouldn't have to do anything else.

This brings to mind, what has happened to SCV Jeff? I haven't seen any posts lately, tried a search and I get an error message.

Did you replace just the head or did you change anything inside? Since you are getting 12v at the head, the power supply is working. Have you done a new channel scan on your TV(s)?
