The Winegard GM-700 is for use in Canada only. It is an auto pointing dome style antenna. You still need to manually set the skew depending upon your location as well. I believe the antenna inside the dome is simply too small to get a lock on the Shaw satellite(s).
My guess would be that you could ship the base of the Trav'ler shipped to Winegard, repaired and returned for less than the cost of a new GM-700 (which likely won't work anyway).
