Sirius Sat Radio....time out ?

Question

Does a Sirius x/m radio time out (shut off) after 6-8-10 hrs ?
I have it playing every nite, and it is never playing in the morning.
And I have had it playing in the morning, and when I come back late in afternoon, it is shut down too. New radio, so I have to assume this is normal ???

I've had a couple Sirius radios and have never had that problem. Right now I have a Starmate 8 and it can be on from 7 am til 10 pm with no problem. My older radio was often on as long and never shut off. Sounds like you need to contact Sirius. Is this a new radio still under warranty? Sounds like a defect.
