Stopping auto run facebook videos on android phone

Question

Maybe it is just me, but I am seeing more and more auto run facebook videos that eat into my data total. I really don't care to view most of them.  I have a Samsung S3 running android 4.3.  So far I haven't found a way to stop those auto run videos.  Any suggestions?

Are we talking when using the Facebook App or When using the Browser?

It isn't just Facebook. I find it very annoying when any website automatically starts a video stream, or music file. I no of no known way to prevent.

I stopped Auto Play on my iPhone5 by using this video. Android is after IOS. Hope this helps.
