Streaming movies from IPad to TV in camper
Here's what I'm wondering : if I have a movie already downloaded on my iPhone or iPad, can I stream it to the tv in my RV when there is not reliable wifi and withhout using my iPhone or iPad hotspot? ...

So, Jeff, are you saying that this wire will simply let anything on my IPad travel to my TV screen with no wifi, no router, no Bluetooth, etc.? And I would not be using my Apple TV device either?
I am asking this because most campgrounds have very poor wifi and I don't want to pay for the data required to watch a downloaded movie. My plan is to download several movies to my IPad and watch them in the RV later.
