I bought a $200 laptop/tablet with Win 8.1 to run S&T - I can detach the keyboard and link the tablet to the GPS puck. Works fine.

I think that I'm up to five or six installs so far over a period of time.
Microsoft Office did top out at four installs - which is probably what you're referring to.
Yes may have to go backwards if I can't get windows 10 to work with a GPS antenna. I have a HP laptop with windows 8.1 and the S&T works fine but it's to big to use in my truck while driving. I also have a ACER netbook laptop ( 11" screen )that works fine when I had windows 7 on it, but I did the up grade to 10 and now I won't work with S&T.
I use the ACER netbook for trips so going back won't be a problem so long as I can use the S&T GPS.
It's great to hear that I can do more installs of S&T.
