As I recall, the unlimited educational access only applied to the old Clearwire system which run on WiMax technology, not LTE. Sprint was a partner with Clearwire on WiMax, but finally bought them out to get access to the spectrum so they could use if for LTE. As they switch over to LTE they will be shutting down the WiMax. Looking at Sprint coverage maps is a bit misleading because you need to be looking at where WiMax is still running for this service to be useful.

but (1) year of high speed unlimited data for Less than (4) months of my current phone bill, yeah that interests me

the problem always seems to be
that once a deal gets publicized and 100's of people jump on it in a short time
it gets canceled

sounds like a scam to me.

If you're spending $500 to cheat on your taxes, you're doing it wrong.

costs $500 then $400 so at a 20% tax rate it is $400 and $320 a year assuming you dont get caught.

you know what they say....if it's too good to be true.....

But it's on the internet, so it has to be true. Doesn't it?

There is a difference between buying stuff from 501c3 organization and deductible charitable donation. Under normal circumstances you don't get deductions when buying stuff (unless you paying in excess of FMV and then the deduction is limited to the excess).
