Transfer pictures from cell to pc
I think I goofed, I changed cell phone provider was not thinking before old provider became in-active, wanted to transfer pictures from old cell phone to My computer can't get it to transfer no kind o...

I do not think it needs to be active but it can take 10-20 minutes before it will work.. I've had to transfer numbers phone to phone (manuallY) and it took me that long to get to the phone book (pre-smart phone).
As someone said, use the USB cable.. teh path if you do not have an SD card in the phone (if you do there are two paths)
On a windows machine, Open File Manager (MY Computer works for XP, Same program) and choose the phone (On my phone is is SGH-XXXXX) then choose PHONE and DCIM then CAMERA and there they are
The other path is CARD--DCIM--CAMERA if you have an SD card installed.
IF ALL the photos are stored on teh SD (Mine are) Pull the card and put it in the proper reader not an adapter may be needed for MICRO SD cards. and then it's another HD on the computer.
