- 2oldmanExplorer IIGmail does a good job of sending this kind of stuff to my spam folder.
- FizzExplorerThe point being here...
It's tax time, at lot of people use Turbo Tax.
A realistic looking email at the appropriate time will fool some people. - BB_TXNomadAny time you get an unsolicited e-mail, click on the details of the name of the sender to see the address details of the sender. Many times the actual e-mail address of the sender is not really associated with the name it implies.
This can also happen with an e-mail address from what appears to be a known name, even a friend or family member. If the e-mail looks somewhat suspicious or unusual, click on the senders name and check out the actual address. Again, good chance it is bogus. - riven1950ExplorerAs stated in the article that applies to all emails not just tt.
