Look under my PC
See if the USB device shows up as a drive with the software files on it
Many devices that USB connect now contain memory and the the software
If it does show as a service with files
Run a virus scan on them , before attempting install
When I plug the USB Modem in, I hear the familiar "ding" indicating some USB Device has been inserted.. Under this/my PC, a new drive doesn't appear..when I look at device manager, the modem is listed under other devices as USB HSF Modem with the "bad News" yellow triangle in front of it. properties indicate No driver installed.. Search of INET and supplied disk provide nothing.. I guess I should ask the forum if anybody has found and installed a USB Dial-up Modem on a Windows 10 system? If so what brand and model? I sure the modem I got is JUNK as it wouldn't install on 2 other WIN 10 units as well as an older computer using Vista.. Thanks for all of the comments..
