Yes, Shaw works in the US and all the way into Mexico. You can't pick up the newest satellite so that programming (most of the HD) is not available.

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

According to other forums, Dish will work in southern Canada. But as you go further north, the satellites are too low on the horizon to be accessed.

Not sure about Direct or Shaw.
