We just purchased our first RV and after one trip realize a mobile wifi hotspot would be nice to have along. Looking at the various carrier's coverage maps does show that Verizon's network is the broadest especially in the hinterlands where we plan to travel.
I have been looking at various devices and their pay-as-you-go data plans. Not being retired yet means we will not need a wifi device every day. So far I think that Walmart's Straight Talk hotspot looks good. It has the cheapest rates for the minor amounts of data we will need for email, web browsing, etc. Plus it uses the Verizon network.
