Mine is Apple’s ‘Remote’. 🙂 Love it!!

We have had our music collection in iTunes for a few years now and have a netbook hooked up to our ‘whole house’ stereo. We’ve got an ir remote for the receiver which meant we had to go into the room with the stereo for the volume, and had to go stand in front of the computer to change what was playing. With this Remote app using wifi we can change what’s playing and the volume from anywhere in the house.

This works in the RV too when we bring our netbook and hook it up to the stereo in there.

What’s your favorite app and how does it make your life better?

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Google maps! I love to look at the 'street view' in remote areas (barely paved roads) in places I am thinking of visiting, as well as streets. It's also my GPS, and I use it daily when traveling to find laundromats, groceries, farmer's markets, bicycle routes, etc., etc.
3/4 timing in a DIY van conversion. Backroads, mountains, boondocking, sometimes big cities for a change of pace.

Mine is "Calc XLS Free". It is a free spreadsheet program that I have been able to use on my Ipad for all sorts of handy personal business and family needs.
