That may be deceiving. You can't make it go faster, end to end, than the slowest section of the total path.
Changing the transmission speed from your devices to your router/concentrator/repeater likely does not make it go faster.

And it is 5GHz transmission band.
5G is something different.

I had a repeater in my home and it never did work well. Good luck.

I understand the repeaters typically cut the speed in half when the signal is boosted. Of course a stronger and more reliable connection is needed first and speed is a secondary issue.

Campground wifi is best for basic email. No video and limited browsing the web. Some campgrounds will put a limit of block data intensive websites.

Band width or signal strength? Be more clear in your complaint. Possible solutions are different.

I use one in many parks but mine is kind of different. Wi-Fi Ranger is the closest to what I use.

I've set up some for others as well with good luck

Fun to set up. and the M2 won't always connect (some parks still use WPA instead of WEP and M2 only does WEP) but.. WOrks well.

Our campground for the winter seems to have enough capability but is weak enough to occasionally drop out in the TT. Asked and answered about a thousand times on here already.

IF....the problem is a weak signal, then yes it probably would help some.

Extenders ARE repeaters ! What that means is any thing they "hear" on that WiFi channel IS repeated. This can sometimes be a problem if there is a lot of traffic and the Extender-Repeater is not up to the task.

A better solution is a better antenna. This almost impossible because laptops and tablets have no external antenna connections. One way around this on a laptop is an external WiFi (typically USB) with an external antenna connector. Then of course you need an external antenna.

I had one that I set up in a shop. Wifi reached the shop ok, but not out in the parking lot behind where I spent 15 months living in my TT.
It worked like a champ!
