Win 10 - finding Removable Hard Drive?

Windows 10 can recognize all the same format/partitioning schemes that previous Windows versions could so there shouldn't be any reason why a drive needs to be reformatted specifically to work with Windows 10. It's possible that the drive's contents got scrambled and needed to be reformatted before ANY OS would recognize it. Did you try it on another computer and did it work there but not with the Windows 10 computer.
