Ever since windows 10 came out my computer goes to sleep if I don't move the mouse every few seconds. I have gone into setting and put it on every setting I can find. apparently windows doesn't recognise "never as never" it just gets worse. I can not watch a youtube video on Rving without it going to sleep. any suggestions without shooting the monitor? I have called microsoft and they took over the computer and redid some setting but still did not help. so that is not an option any more

Could be something in the BIOS.

Change plan settings
Change advanced power settings

This will get you to the advanced power settings where you can most likely fix your problem. My wife's laptop was doing the same and that was how I fixed it. Why you have to jump through hoops to really change settings is beyond me. I know no matter what you do with the basic settings it won't keep it from turning off the monitor or going to sleep. Hope this helps.

Assuming the above suggestion doesnโ€™t work, you might have better luck asking on a Windows 10 Forum. Be sure to list what has been attempted thus far.

Go to "Settings" then:

Power & Sleep:

On Battery power, turn off after - Never
When plugged in, turn off after - Never
On battery power, PC goes to sleep - Never
When plugged in, PC goes to sleep - Never

Battery:

Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery reaches -- Use the slider to set your percent. I keep mine on 20%.

Reboot your computer. Turn it off, pull the electric plug and remove the battery if a lap top. Put it all back together after 10 seconds, and power back up.

Perhaps there's someone more attuned to fixing this than anybody from Microsoft, but that's hard to imagine.
