Wireless head phones

I need a good set and not sure how long the batteries last.
My example looks rather cheap. I do have a slight hearing impairment.
I have been using regular head phones with a cable running from TV to HP for watching.
Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

  • Not sure how you watch TV, the Roku 3 has a headphone port on the remote control. There are numerous BT adapters that would make your wired headset wireless.

Also, check CNET reviews. They have reviewed wireless headsets in the past.

  • My family just got me these Manhattan Fusion bluetooth headphones for Father's Day. I wear them when mowing and listen to XM via the app on my smart phone. You can use these with any device that is bluetooth compatible. Battery life is about 10 hrs and they recharge via a micro-USB connection, which conveniently is the same as my smart phone.

The have decent 20-20K frequency response and sound great for the money. If you have the budget, look at Bose or some of the higher end brands, but I have no complaints, especially at this price point.

I see alot of folks wearing the ones that fit behind one ear. Seems like the dual headsets over both ears would get old after awhile wearing them for long periods of time???

I haven't done either yet but was making observations...

I have a similar need for monitoring several different audio channels when wandering around my home and RVs at camp grounds...

Hopefully the stereo plugs can be plugged into an audio divider circuit where several different audio channels can be plugged in at the same time. My anticipated use is to do with internet radio scanners...

  • We have been using Sennheiser RS120 for years. Not as cheap as the ones posted. But work very well in RV and house. We have a pair of headphone for DW and I. Last about a week on one charge with about 3 hours of use daily.
  • The batteries I have never replaced. I take the head phones off the charger and use them all day return at bed time. They shut off when not wearing them, turn back on a couple seconds after you put them back on. I even wear them outside on the deck, to hear the news. Friend has same set he uses them so he does not miss TV while riding his lawn tractor.
  • Thanks Vet Man I will research them. Can you use one set of batteries while charging the other? Are the Bats. AAA---AA or just for the Sony?
I use a lot of AAA and AA rechargeables.
  • I have been using a pair of wireless by Sony. Bought them at Best Buy for $100. They are very comfortable and last all day, at night I put them back in the charger. I have been using them daily for 2 years.
