The first I would focus on is the OTA TV PANEL that looks like this.
Locate the PART NUMBER on the panel to be sure it is not the AMPLIFIED TYPE. Searching on GOOGLE ONLINE using the Antenna Panel Part number will tell which type of panel you have. I am discussing the Winegard RV7042 Wallplate/power Supply Model (RV-7042) here.
The second thing to do is find out the model number of the roof mounted ANTENNA. It is probably a BAT WING or could also be the JACK as they are now showing up on the newer models RV trailers.
The basics is to push the BLACK BUTTON on the panel and the small green light should light up indicating you have 12VDC present. Pushing this button will be sending 12VDC to the roof antenna to power up the OTA Antenna internal RF AMPLIFIER.
In most cases the F-CONNECTOR on the antenna panel will go directly to the cable feeding the roof mounted BATWING or JACK antenna. For now just connect this to a good high def TV set like the VIZIO 22-inch model which is the one we use.
The next step is to point the BATWING or JACK antenna in the direction of the local town that is transmitting OTA DIGITAL TV Signals.
The next thing to do is select ANTENNA from the VIZIO MENU and do the scan for digital channels and you should start seeing digital stations being counted up until it finishes the HDTV scan.
When the scan completes you should start seeing digital TV signals.
If you don't get any channels in the scan then you have to move the antenna a few degrees in either direction and restart the scan.
Once you are able to watch digital TV from the OTA ANTENNA PANEL F-Connector now you can start trying to figure out the combinations of the other connector panels to feed the main digital TV and the Bedroom Digital TV.
I have seen some TV JACK panels have to use a short RG TV jumper cable to make it work.
Once the VIZIO TV is working form the OTA TV Panel you can move it's RG cable around the other antenna jacks and see if you the good digital TV signal...
Always hard to work blind from someone elses TV cableing setups.
One of my friends was so messed up that we couldn't get any of the internal RG cableing figured out and ended up running a new cable down to the OTA TV PANEL from the roof. Once we started getting the one TV JACK working then finally figured out the others to get him going.
All of this discussions is having a TV MOUNTED Internal Amplifier. If yours is using the TV Amplifier at the trailer side then things is going to be alot different than what I have said above... It will fall into the "WHO KNOWS" how it is going to be wired up.
You gotta start somewhere hehe...
Lets us all know some part numbers of things involved with your digital TV setup.
good luck...
