X2 help needed!

I have the X2 with the 211K dish receiver and I just got to a new campground this afternoon and after setting up the X2 it won't pick up sat 129. It worked at the last campground early this morning. I moved the sat 3 times and there's nothing in the way and rescanned but still no 129. Has anyone had this problem before? Dish said they can't help since it's not their sat.
Any thoughts?
Thanks G

I fulltime and have used the X2 for about 2 years now.

Just FYI - I call Dish every time I move more then about 100 - 200 miles and ask them to change my service address and give me the new local channels. Takes effect about 10-15 minutes later.

How did you know you weren't getting 129 ? Were you not getting certain channels ? If you were not getting the locals, then your problem could probably be solved by just calling Dish and changing your service address. Or maybe 129 was hidden behind a tree ? The X2 will work even if it can't find all the sats - you will get a message on your TV telling you that.

If you were looking at the Setup grid on your TV screen and it showed no reception for 129, I'm not sure I would be concerned. Mine does show that sometimes but I still get all the channels. My impression is that the sat dish can't lock on to all 3 sats at the same time so it very well might show that you're not getting 129 if you're watching a channel off one of the other two sats. I'm not the expert here, but I do pay attention to how it works.

I also have a nice app on my Iphone that finds the sats in the sky. DISHFORMYRV is the name. Costs $5. It uses the phone's camera to project the eastern and western sats onto the sky when you hold your phone up to the southern sky. This allows you to find the best starting point for your X2.

Ok guys I'm in Eureka Springs Wonderlust RV park which is nice btw. I set up the X2 this evening and it locked in first try in full HD with all three satellites. Guess there was something yesterday that would not allow the 129 to lock in but it's great now.

Where are you currently located?
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

I learned last year that as I significantly moved east or west I had to call up Dish and change the service address; did it twice, from Floria to eastern Louisiana to eastern Texas.

That symptom was as if the X2 wouldn't see certain satellites; it was actually that it couldn't download the appropriate parts of the program guide and it would appear to not see the birds. Changing the service address to the local CG fixed the problem right away each time.

I'm setting up the sat again tomorrow in Eureka Springs campground and I'll find out if it works or make the call to Dish.

Why don't you try the Eastern Arc Sats setting on the Pathway x2? The x2 is capable of either Western or Eastern Arc settings.

That's a great idea but for Arkansas it doesn't give me an east or west option but it does with Texas.

Sat 129 carry most of the HD channels. 110 & 119 are mostly SD.

Are you sure you shouldn't be using sat 119? That's what we use.
