As to the speedometer, replace the cable. As to the GPS, I don't know anything about your abilities.

My GPS works pretty good at telling me my current speed.. I can have a display with the current speed in the lower right side, and also a close estimate of the street's speed limit (that is normally within about 10 MPH of the posted speed limit, it might have changed since the GPS was set up and programmed, or the GPS Might have had wrong information all along, or many smaller streets never have the speed programmed for them.).

As for the tank size, you can measure and calculate 8 gallons per cubic foot, and get close to the right size.

The fresh water you can measure the number of 5 gallon tanks it will require to fill the tank outside water filler with a siphon and 5 gallon bucket, or funnel and 1 gallon container. Or estimate it by setting the fresh water hose to a certain speed, time how long it takes to fill a 1 gallon container (setting it slow enough that it should take 10 - 15 seconds per gallon) then time the fill. If the hose filled the 1 gallon tank in 15 seconds, and then the total tank in 8 minutes - X 4 gallons per minute, you will get a good guess at it's capacity.

i have to say that it is hard to understand the OP and that he chooses to post each question in a new post, is a bit aggravating.

he would probably get better answers if he just asked all his questions in one post.

but i'm sorry, anyone who asks where to get tires for his RV, shouldn't be driving a 1977 MH that the owner is clueless about, from California to Maryland.

i hope he isn't a Troll and really reconsiders his trip until he gets some more knowledge under his belt.
where can I find help so I can get that under my belt, also my family is going with me,we joined good Sam club.

Is this meant to be satire, or is this the best you can do? No offense meant, but it's hard to tell since posted by someone that spells their name "rwjejets"-?

Most GPS units will give you an instantaneous speed reading while in motion. Trying to read it while driving could be hazardous to your health (and that of everybody else on the road).

Also, it will not update your Odometer.
