1999 Mountain High Coachworks Residency Project

Just finishing up the touches on a 1999 Residency I bought 3 months ago.

I really liked the floor plan, Otherwise I would of bought something newer. And I think I got a good deal.

I purchased the Coach for 25,000 W/ 50K miles on it.

Its v10 Purrs like a kitten, Drove it halfway across the country home with no mechanical issues, except the generator wouldn't start (knew this buying it)

Heres Break Down of what ive done and Prices.

$25,000 - 1999 Residency
$500 - Fix Onan 5500 Generator (Needed New Starter And had it Serviced at the same time)
$980 - Splendide 2100XC Washer/Dryer
$1200 - Reupholster all the curtons and the main L shaped Couch (wasn't digging the floral patterns)
$1100 - Installed new Smart TV's in the bedroom and living room
$100 - Motion Sensor Outdoor Lights
$400 - 8 Camera Outdoor Security System (Covers 360 degrees)
$500 - The Seals in the dual pane windows were creeping towards the middle, so replaced every windows seal myself. Im going to make a youtube video on low cost way to rebuild the windows I found out)

Ive been looking for some others that have owned or still own one of these motorhomes. Curious there thoughts on the coach. Its new to me and I haven't put it through the paces. But in 3 weeks will mark its first maiden voyage since I Purchased it. Doing 4 day close to home trip and then in December going to do a longer 5 week long trip through mid west.

Ill post some pictures of the project soon!
  • I had a 2000 with 2 slides and the tag axle, and it buckled the frame right at the back wall of the living room slideout.

It was just another nice rv that had way too much rv behind the rear axle and it eventually sagged to the point that I had to park it. Surprisingly almost all gasser class A's with a living room slide do it. Some are just as bad as mine were, but most not nearly.

Nice rv other than that. Looking forward to your seals explanation, lots of rv's have that.
