Changing Tires

We are new to RVing and I'm trying to outfit our new 27ft Cougar with all the necessary equipment. Is it better to use a tire change ramp or a hydraulic jack to lift a tire off the ground for removal? What are the pros and cons of each method? Thanks,

Campground rates RVing on a budget

I was floored when I saw a campground advertising on this site for 4500 a month or $150 a day for just an RV spot. To me that is the cost of a luxurious home. I want to pay around $500 or less a month on campground fees. I checked and the local la...

Which is more economical? Diesel costs more, but supposedly gets better gas mileage. Anyone have both and find one more economical over the other?

Which is the better way to go 5th wheel or motorhome?

Been looking at 5th wheels and overall they seem more like homes than campers compared to the motorhomes. The big drawback being with a 5th wheel one is stuck driving a gas-guzzling truck whereas with a motorhome one can tow a gas-efficient vehicle....
