My cold weather elec plugs come on around 40 degrees. Both bought at same time. Leviton 15a-125v at home depot.

Anything more accurate to come on around 32 or 34? Or adjustable?

Thanks

I have some Themro Cubes, my issue with the brand or at least the batch I have is that the plugs are very tight, so tight I fear I will break the things if I try unplugging them from the extension cords I have them plugged into (they will not fit directly into my outdoor outlets due to the outlet covers).

Hi Path1,

I would not want turn on to be much lower than 35 f. In an ideal world turn off at 40 would be wonderful.

I've had terrible luck with the "Frost King" brand of those plugs which are common around here. They seem to be ok with the heater on 750 watts but if I put it on 1500, it kills the plug even though it's rated for it.

It's like a "camper" from east coast with hitch and wheels. But still called a "camper".

They are handy for turning on heaters for livestock, light bulbs in well pits, heat tapes on pipes, etc. Farm supply places carry them.

The "farm innovator" says "Thermo Cube" on it. Search Thermo Cube. I have one that comes on very close to 35.

Quite common in AG applications. Keep a coup warm or ice off the water trough.

I keep one in my pump bay with a 40w bulb.

My thermo-plug comes on at 35 and off at 45 I do believe. I have one on a space heater in an attached shed that has my laundry machines,

Brand is Farm Innovation or something like that.
