FLYING A FLAG IN AN RV PARK

Morning everyone. I have noticed on a few RV park websites, regulations for how tall a flag pole can extend beyond the top of the rv when your flying the flag of your choice. I plan to fly two, so I was curious how tall some of your's are. 2 ft , 3 ft I plan on mounting the flag pole hanger about a ft below the top of my 12 ft tall rv.

Mine certainly isn't very tall, I use a mount on the king pin. I wouldn't stay anywhere that had restrictions for flying the American/State Flags! Cause I might get a long flag pole sometime!:C

Just wondering (not critiquing)-why it's important to fly high and what was the height restriction @ that locale?

We use one of the tri-flag holders and fly the three North American flags, Mexico, Canada and USA. Whichever country we are in at the time gets centre position and a little higher. Usually not above roofline though.

X2, but we generally stay in State campgrounds and have never seen such a regulation. Probably exists in some private cg's.
