Hi everyone,
New to the forum, just wanted to pose a question and see if anyone had some input.
I'm considering a side job transporting motor-homes. The company is called Horizon Transport. They move brand new RVs from factories in IN and OR to customers all over the US and Canada. They pay .90 cents to $1.20 per mile depending on the RV. The driver is responsible for all fuel costs.
I'm trying to figure out if it would even be worth it considering the low mpg and high fuel costs.
What kind of mileage can I expect with a class A diesel? or class C? I would need to make $600 per 1000 miles. Is that even realistic?
Uh, Sorry.
Your's is a "mileage" question.
Best thing to do is scoot on over to the "Class A Motorhomes" forum.
Ask your question there. Maybe better to search that forum first.
Horizon Transport has a great website. Recommended reading for most.
