This has me baffled... My black water holding tank is well cared for and never any odor when stopped and used... However when used on the road odor comes on strong when flushed... Is this a vent problem while moving?? Any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks in advance john mc d

Thanks to all. We will try the pine sol. It will be like going to the bathroom in the woods.

I pour pine sol into the toilet in the summer. Solves the issue for us.

Is your bath ceiling vent open and is the fan running while you're going down the road?

That will suck the odor out of the toilet when it is flushed.

When we open windows and flush the toilet while moving we do get the odor in the coach. Keep all doors and windows and vents tightly closed when you flush going down the road.

Probably more of a pressure problem... Pressure outside is greater than the pressure inside so the fumes get pushed into the MH. Try one of those 360 Vent toppers for the holding tank vent.
