King Rover Satillte and Direct TV

We have the King Rover Satellite on the roof of our motor home. As of right now we have an older receiver in use with it.
In our sticks and bricks, we use direct TV with a genie receiver.
What I would like to know is; will the genie receiver work on the the king rover dish, I sure that it won't receive the Hi Def portion, but would like to benefit from the DVR function
We have a commitment period to honor on the Genie and would like to take advantage of it on the road this summer.

Thanks to all who can help

I had looked into this a year or so ago. The King Rover does not receive HD signals from Directv. Here's the recevier compatability: DIRECTV compatible receivers: Models D10, D11, D12, H20, HR20, H21, HR22, HR23, H24 and HR24. Not compatible with SWM only receivers (such as model H25 and HR25). My guess is that if your receiver is compatable, you should get the DVR function. I bought a $100 tripod directv dish from ebay. It is easy to set up, gets HD, and the DVR format works fine.
