lots of caulking around vents, etc on roof?

Doesn't look factory done to me. Looks like someone did not later on. Perhaps as a preventative measure. It does need to be redone occasionaly. For a 10 yr old RV, I would say it looks pretty normal. I'd get some vent covers though...lol
