Congrats!
You can stock your camper with anything you want. There is no magic bullet. Everyone stocks their campers as uniquely as they do their own home. Think of your camper as an extension of your home, not a separate entity, and you'll have no problems figuring out what you need.
One thing I do advise to everyone just starting out, look for items that will serve dual purposes. My classic example, rather than have scissors in your makeshift medicine box, scissors in your yarn box, scissors in your hobby box, scissors with your kitchen knife set, just get one scissors that does it all ... and that will be the one that comes with your kitchen knife set. It cuts meat, paper, string, wire, "fingers", toe nails, serves as a hole punch, a good tool to help remove splinters, cut cloth bandages, and even cut twigs and flowers with. Get the idea? Look for items that serve multiple purposes and then you don't need to carry a variety which takes up a lot of space. So think "multi-task"..... that's my advise!
FYI, a really nice big kitchen cutting board serves as a cutting board, a portable table, a cover for the picnic table to use for placing utinsils when you cook outside, a work station, and something to use as a table top when reclining in bed to write on paper with. Get the idea?
1 plastic milk crate has hundreds of uses. Mix with that cutting board, and the uses are many! Think creative! But most of all ... have fun!
