Not towing a car, Where can we go
EVERYWHERE! :C
You will be able to park that 19ft anywhere you want in a town or attractions. You will even fit into many parking spots on the street or otherwise. If there is spot you can fit into just to do it. There are no RV restrictions, if you fit park it!
I have a '
31ft towing a car' and I go into towns all the time WITH the car attached! Grocery store parking lots are your friend. That's where I usually park way out on the outskirts of the lot.
I am from Illinois you need to go South to see neat things like Starve Rock, the massive sandstone structures, etc. But the drawback is Illinois is a very long state and the trip south would many hours driving.
Illinois state beach and zion in the North puts you 'near to nothing' but Chicago and you can't take the RV into Chicago. Having lived in Chicago I personally would NOT make Chicago a fun trip destination. :W
If I were you I would go just an hour North instead just over the state line into Wisconsin which offers copious spectacular CG's and attraction/destinations. Lake Geneva, Kettle Moraine etc. There's so much to see and do there and much much nicer than anything Illinois has to offer.:C
