My husband changed to the 500 piece puzzles when I found a tray large enough to hold one. The tray fits on one of the bunks when a puzzle is being worked on.
Before that he was going to make one out of plywood. If you do make one be sure that it will fit thru doors with an unfinished puzzle on.
