Ready to buy just not sure on Tt or toy hauler

We have decided to buy a camper tired of renting them. Not sure on bumper pull of fifth wheel. Dodge 2500 short bed to pull it. We do own a motorcycle so the though of having a toy hauler does appeal to us. We also want the sleeping area to have a door or curtain for privacy. We also will be having our kids with us. Youngest is 6 oldest 19. The most we will have at any time is 6. We have never owned one and not sure what to expect with owning one. We are very excited about owning our own.

Get the kids a tent. There, that is them out of the way. Now, what do you want for the 2 of you?

The bike is not a need for us. We don't do bike rally's and when we travel with the bike we stay in motels along the way.

Just by your own description and family demographics, I think you are a Toy Hauler candidate! If you get the type that has the rear bunks in the garage that move up and down, you'll have plenty of sleeping space, and room for the motorcycle when you travel.

Those beds are huge, easily sleep 4 kids, probably 4 adults too. Plus the dinette, and the master bed, and maybe even a fold out couch.

They make nice bumper-pull toy haulers, you can get by with out a 5er as Toy Haulers also come in various configurations. The side door Travel Trailer Toy Haulers also have bunk-beds that fold up too. Lots of options.

I think you are going to be a "Toy Hauler" family! I foresee the future!

We went with the Stealth Toy Hauler, a Travel Trailer with open space. You know when the table and chairs are set up, with no toys in the garage, it is a very roomy TT. The open space is nice because you can haul toys,(Motorcycles), or anything else. They seem larger than the same size TT. We used a regular TT for years, but anymore than 2 people seemed crowded. Our 34' is just perfect when we take the Gem 4 seat electric vehicle with us. Good Luck finding your RV. With the drop down beds, and the sofa as a double, there is plenty of room for 8 people. Opening the ramp with a view is priceless.

Quick; decided what is more important to you the trailer or the motorcycle? If the latter then the toy hauler would be the one.
