Rideshare into national parks?

Hello,
We are about to head off on a 10-day trip and will be visiting several national parks along the way. We are renting a Class C motorhome, and most of the campgrounds in NP's don't have hookups. We are not towing a car. Has anyone used rideshare companies like Uber or Lyft to get from an RV campground to a national park? The one we are particularly having trouble with is Sequoia NP. They have a shuttle in summer, but we will be there in October. Thanks!
  • With the issues that Uber and Lyft have had, I'd recommend just renting a car for the times you need it. In the long run it might not be any more expensive than using a Lyft/Uber driver-they will charge you by the hour if it's not a standard pick-up/drop off situation.
  • Drive your rental in for the day. Ya don't have to camp there. Depending on how big the Class C is parking may be a pain. Oh What shuttle in Sequoia ??
  • For your visit to Sequoia National Park you might consider staying in Three Rivers, California, which is just outside the south entrance to the park. Do an internet search to see if there is an Uber of Lyft service, but I doubt it. There might be a car rental facility which you can also check on the internet. You will not be able to drive your rv into the park from there due to a size restriction of 22 feet. There are at least three rv parks with full hookups in Three Rivers. We prefer Kaweah RV Resort. Have a great trip.
