RV Insurance

Our travel trailer has been 'totaled' by the insurance company. Are there any insurance companies that will provide just liability and coverage for contents only?
  • Same in MI - liability comes from the towing vehicle when towing. Contents may be covered up to a specified amount under your homeowners policy if you have one. Most do cover some amount away from your home premises. Talk to you agent.
  • If your trailer has been totaled, have you not collected or soon will collect your insurance money?

In FL, your liability part on a trailer is covered by the tow vehicle when towing. No liability when sitting parked. Contents might come under comprehensive.

Best bet is to call some insurance agents, rv insurance specialists or possibility a rider on your house insurance.
