Our maiden voyage with our new Travel Trailer was a disaster. We had been using a pop-up camper for years prior so I wasn't used to looking for low hanging branches in campgrounds. First time out in the new Travel Trailer a branch took off the rubber roof, dented the roof, took off the fridge vent, and made my awning look like a smiley face. Several thousand dollars worth of damage. Lesson learned until I got my new 5th wheel. Then I caught a retaining wall with the rear end pulling out of my RV parking spot next to the house and took off the rear cap of my 5ver.
