I have nothing too bad, but about two years ago I got home from a half-day at work, looking forward to camping for the weekend. Got home, backed the truck up and hitched up. Did the walk around checking everything and all is good. So off we go.
Stop to get gas at a station a few miles from the house and as I am walking around checking connections, I realized I had hitched the TT right my regular old trailer ball! This was with my old TT, which due to weight I did not have to use my WD bars, so I completely missed it.
If I had pulled out of the station, I was about to go over a very large RR crossing and would have lost it for sure. I drove about a half-mile away my in-laws and dropped the TT there while I went to get the correct hitch.
