when boondocking do you bring a weapon ?
we will have our dog,,,who doesn't miss a trick and will cause a problem IF she needs to protect,,,but I was thinking of carrying a shotgun too,,,any problems doing that ?? I have a NY pistol license ...

+1. Not likely that it will be needed, but it doesn't hurt to have it along in case some rabid animal or rabid human tries to ruin your life. Ultimately, we are responsible for preserving our own safety; the authorities can't be everywhere.
