12v led light with battery clamps

So I finally got the batteries out of the TT for storage. Since I have them close by now and I'll be keeping them charged I thought it'd be nice to have a 12v led light/flashlight for when the power goes out at home. However, all the 12v lights I have found don't have the battery clamps - instead they have the car connector.

Anyone knows where to find one of those?
  • Thanks, will try the adapter. Good point on the weight of the battery though.
  • We use LED lanterns that have rechargeable battery packs. The LED's pull so little power that a 100 AH car battery is overkill in the extreme. Even our lanterns that have two fluorescent tubes will last 12 hours or more on a single battery charge. Do you really want to carry a 60 lb battery around the house when you can get the same results with a 2-4 lb. LED lantern?

Coleman makes models that allow for one or more panels to be detached and used individually which is great for use while camping and at home during blackouts.
  • either use the adapter shown, or just cut it off and put clamps on yourself. I would use the adapter, because you would be more adaptable to whatever situation.
