Do I have to disconnect my negative from battery when towing the edge

It is so simple to disconnect. I have the Taurus, same/same. 10MM nut, less than 30 seconds, and you can just reconnect for 6 hour starts. Battery stay muy charged this way and all the settings are saved. And you don't have to drive forward and backward, just run it for at least 5 mins and when you put it in N, just go to D, the R, then N. Shut it off. This gets lots of Tranny fluid in the trans.
I have 2 Jeeps and the Taurus that I tow. Taurus is the easiest.
