2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited towing question
Hey folks Rollingrock here....we picked up a 2014 JKU (4 door) shows to have a max tow of 3500lbs. Looking at pick up a pop up, it says it weight 3100lbs. Seems kind of heavy don't you think?...

I just purchased a Wrangler 2 door, didn't need the 4 door. My weight is about 3700 lbs and your is 500 lbs more, so lets say it's 4300+/-lbs. Pulling 3500 lbs is real close to your vehicle weight and could make it unstable at higher speeds. I would be concerned about stability and not so much the capability of the tow vehicle. When we were young my wife was driving our car with a ski boat and trailer on the back, down hill, too fast that did a 180 on the freeway. Obviously unstable at higher speeds is problematic.
