2018 Subaru Crosstrek tow bar and breaking system
Jusat bought a 2018 Crosstrek .Need to hook it up for full timing to a 2006 Newmar scottsdale any help on choices for crossbar and supplemental break system would be appreciated

- Remco doesn't list any 2018 Subs yet, but the 2017 Crosstek with the 5-speed manual is listed as "towable as is." The CVT automatic is listed as "Must be trailered."
- Subaru has gone to electric power steering in all models. None after 2015 (?)are flat table
- In 2016 Subaru changed their policy, no longer recommending 4-down towing of any Suby. So, doing so will void your new vehicle warranty. My 2009 Forester has no warranty at this point, has towed great for 15k miles or so. We use ReadyBrute Elite towbar with built in surge brake, Blue Ox baseplate on Suby, with ReadyStop emergency brake-away system.
